I have been selling real estate for almost 40 years! I love that my clients span generations; I am now selling homes to the kids of my clients from years ago. It makes me truly appreciate the loyal following I have achieved. I have earned their trust, respect…and their referrals, through honesty and the value I place on maintaining every relationship.
I initially worked for a property management company managing NYC townhouses for 18 years. I learned that end of the business, then branched out to selling and leasing all types of residential properties, but I still consider myself a specialist in investment properties including multi-family homes and apartment buildings.
I am particularly proud of the reputation I have for integrity, and the respect I’ve earned in the McLean Ave. neighborhood of Yonkers where I’ve lived and worked for so many years. Just say “Sonia” to any of the area merchants and they’ll point you to my office!
I grew up in the Dominican Republic and came to the U.S. many years ago as a young woman who spoke only Spanish, no English, but I did have 2 years of business school to my credit. I was referred to and accepted into an intensive program at NYU to learn English; 4 hours/day, 4 days/week, for 6 months. I have been very fortunate to have the opportunities I’ve had in my life, through amazing people and hard work. I make it a point to always express my gratitude!
