When I bought my first home in my 20’s, I still remember my wonderful agent telling me to focus on the things about each property that I could never change. It was valuable advice then, and again when I bought my next property. I remember how patient she was in the many months we worked together, how professional and kind, and how comfortable she made me feel, especially on closing day. I have modeled my approach to working with my clients after her and the lessons she taught me.
Prior to real estate, I spent over 20 years working in higher education, helping people make good decisions on furthering their education. In that time, I learned a lot about uncovering someone’s core motivation including their concerns and objections. There are also sensitive and personal financial conversations that take place when considering higher education, just as in purchasing or selling a home. In real estate, being able to achieve these levels of understanding allows me to empower and encourage my clients to achieve their goals, reminding them that it’s more than a transaction, it’s an investment in their future.
I am originally from the south Bronx and am bilingual in English and Spanish. I earned by undergrad degree in business and a graduate degree in communications, both from Pace University. Living now in the White Plains area, we enjoy daily walks around the neighborhood and at the Kensico Dam. I value time with my twin girls, my husband and my dog. I also enjoy listening to music, working out and a good Netflix movie.
With each client, I am building a relationship, educating them on the real estate process, and striving to make the experience both enjoyable and memorable. I’d love to earn your trust and help you with all your real estate needs.
