I started in real estate as a salesperson in NYC for a leading luxury real estate company. Although I lived and worked in the city for many years prior, I soon realized that assisting home buyers & sellers in my own Westchester backyard would be a better fit.
For me, entering the real estate profession was a long time in coming. After a decade in media, publishing, and ad sales, followed by a second “career” parenting my twin daughters and serving as a very engaged community volunteer, I made the commitment. I credit my mother with inspiring me; she worked in banking and real estate for over 30 years in Texas where I grew up and earned my BA in Journalism and Broadcast Communications.
I have been very fortunate throughout my life to engage with activities and people in many different circles and it has enriched me immensely. I started playing golf competitively at a very young age, competed in equestrian sports alongside my entire family, ran in the NYC Marathon (years ago!) and traveled extensively with my twin daughters who skated on the ISU International Ladies Figure Skaters circuit. These days, I am actively involved with the Hudson Valley Writers’ Center and the Philipse Manor Garden Club, following two of my passions.
Clients & colleagues consider me a reliable and dedicated team player with a hardworking and resourceful client-centric approach. I figure out how to get things done! I’d be happy to put those skills to work for you; contact me to discuss any of your real estate needs.
